Overhaul of Sukhois, software defined radios, new helicopters among Rs 1.1 lakh cr projects cleared

Overhaul process does not involve any addition of abilities & is very different from an upgrade. Clearances were given by Defence Acquisition Council chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
